I was recently provided with a new 2010 Chevy express van for work.
So I am currently in the process of getting the new van up to par.
So in the process of getting my van decked out the way I want involes installing XM Radio.
Well my old van was a 2007. Aparently they changed the connectors for the ant so my modulator will not work.
I went to 1 Best Buy 2 get the adaptors it was after hours of the install bay so those guys couldn’t answer my question.
So the guy that helped me went to the computer to look it up. Well the 2010 model is not in there yet.
So he asked me if I could point it out if I saw it. I was like Yea. So he asks for keys for the installer bay.
So me and him are looking threw there wall of adapters for radios I find 1/2 of what I need.
The other 1/2 was out of stock. Alright no biggy now I know what they are I can go to another location and get it.
But I’m not going to do that now I’ll wait till the next day. I went to Best Buy the next day or the day after I don’t remember.
Looked around the audio department see if by chance they had that kinda of stuff hanging around. Nope.
One of the Best Buy people doing there job asked if I needed help. I told him what I needed. The first thing he attempted to do was look it up on the computer. I warned him not to waste his time it is not there. I told him that I could point it out in the installer bay.
He asks for keys the guy who brought the keys was a fucking dick. I’m Sorry sir but its against company policy to allow you in the installer bay. I was like O Really? I explained that if he allowed me to point out the connector Id save some time for all parties involved and that they can make a sale. His responce was We don’t care about maken a sale if it violates company policy. And I’m thinking to myself. Why did they other store let me in. That manager guy didn’t seemed to mind.
Everyone knows that Best Buy people wear blue shirts gray/tan pants and the geeksquade is all tied up.
This guy was wearing OU shirt and is proceding to tell me about company policy. The whole process takes 30mins plus.
I am going to go to the first store and chat with them about there company policy.
I will probly chat about the dress code aswell. I am curious as to the truth about such things.
I am no longer in the mood to buy anything of any interist from Best Buy for a long while.

That is if it is not put to good use. The akins guy died and was “Over weight” Acording to the standards that people put to declare people obese. If there is a bill to vote you can count on me voting no on soda sugar tax bill.
